November felt soooooo busy. Jimmy switching jobs was a great opportunity, but it came with a lot of stress with change and switching insurances and other bureaucracy junk. We were finally able to nearly pay completely for a new bigger and safer vehicle. That's been our goal since the twins were born when we had to settle for a vehicle that could fit everyone and was what we could afford. It worked out nicely though in the end. We LOVE our Subaru Ascent! It has a lot of space and is made for country living. We sadly sold the Honda even though we hadn't run it into the ground yet, and the Mazda is Jimmy's car now.
We want the girls to stay in one room, but Brooke grew a ton this year. Her and Kaydence were getting squished up top on the twin bed of the bunk. We didn't want to mess with a trundle each night, wanted her to have her own space, and didn't want to compromise the floor space of the bedroom. So a loft bed was the answer! It's worked out really well. Brooke is getting a very pre-teen attitude in how she feels she deserves all these things, haha, but I know in this case, it was something that is good for her. It's hard to share so many things. She also now gets to stay up as late as she'd like reading books in bed, though I've never seen her make it past 8:30 :).
Thanksgiving Day
On Black Friday, we skipped the shopping and went to the zoo. There were barely any people there...just how I like it! The animals didn't seem as annoyed with humans, like usual. A little monkey dude even climbed down straight to my girls to look at them and then put his hand on theirs.. it was so precious 😍!
