This was really our first "big" family vacation.  We've gone to Nauvoo and had stay-cations, but nothing so involved or far away.  We took two days to drive to Pennsylvania.  The first night in a hotel in Ohio, we went swimming and ordered pizza.  The second night in a hotel in Pennsylvania, we went to a mall that had a movie theatre in it to see "The Secret Life of Pets" and stopped in an arcade and dollar store beforehand.  The next two days we went to Sesame Place.  While we were there it was super super hot, but we rode rides, had lunch with Elmo and friends, bought souvenirs, watched a parade (and had meltdowns, lol).  The second day at Sesame Place, the Reids joined us and we did water rides then went to Red Robin.  We were staying at the Reid's house then.  The next day, we went to an orchard and shopping.  Then came back for some lazy time.  We left that night at bedtime to drive through the night.  We stopped for breakfast at a Perkins and freshened up.  Then we swung by Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, and were home by dinner.  The girls were all very happy to see their doggies ;)
