S & P's THIRD BIRTHDAY

PARKER

SCARLETT 

The twins had a very Disney birthday...Sofia, Giselle, Minnie Mouse, Ariel, Frozen, etc. They are our biggest girly girls. Their birthday was on the Saturday before school started, so it was a busy one, and they were cranky (haha, no big surprise). They look back and think fondly of the day though, and how cute are they!? They had some of their favorite foods for meals...chocolate donuts, waffles with strawberries, and Genoa's Pizza (which their grumpy butts refused).

Parker, we love your spunk (well, sometimes!...we recognize that it will be beneficial to you in your life :)).  You pull your sisters' hair and cause problems like the rest of them, but you are the first to hand out hugs or give Scarlett the toy you were fighting over.  You hate to be embarrassed. You struggled this year with inconsolable tantrums.  You are a sensitive little girl that gets easily overwhelmed, but as you have grown, you are outgrowing some of the sensory issues you seemed to have.  If Mommy or Daddy gently rub your back, you have finally learned to let yourself be soothed!  This has, seriously, changed our lives.  You are beautiful, independent, and hilariously sassy. We are so grateful you came to our family!

Scarlett, you are our first charmer!  You can make anyone feel better about themselves with your encouraging, enthusiastic personality.  You still tantrum over things also, but never as often as an unnamed little girl in our family ;).  I have yet to find a trick to calm you though, darn-it!  Inconveniently, you guys get upset over opposite thing too! Stinkers! I think you are done throwing fits in the car, at least! You have turned into a really cute talker, often informing us of what Parker is trying to say. You love anything "Tangled" and playing dollhouse the most. You may have been the "extra" twin, but we are so glad you were!
