Our master bedroom! This is my favorite room; it is so peaceful with great sunbeam angles always floating in onto the bed. This room was like the other bedrooms...paint, carpet, some trim, lights and switches, outlet plates, etc. We bought a king size bed shortly after the twins were born (best purchase ever). I redid my old nightstands and dresser to black with silver knobs, replaced the mirror to the dresser, spray painted the lamps and bought new lampshades. The entertainment center, block shelves and other decor is from our old black and red living room in Janesville (so very frugally done). I've gotten a bedskirt since these pictures, and a black wicker laundry basket is next on my list. Then this room will be completely finished. Love, love, love it!
These out-buildings of ours look pretty small in this picture, but you can see our blue car to the left of the white building to give you a scale for size. The white building is what we call the mancave. It was actually a pre-existing building that the guys finished into a "living space" as their very first project after we moved. It has LP heating, electricity, and air conditioning (once they install the AC unit) but no bathroom or water. This is where Jimmy works. A picture of his office is below. That space in the picture is about 1/4 to 1/3 of the total space inside. The rest is sofas, a dining room table, TV, etc. The guys haven't gotten much "man time" in there together, but the day will come when all our big projects are done. Right?? It will. The middle building was here when we bought the property too. We haven't done anything to it, but reinforce some main posts. The lawn mower and other outdoor stuff is stored in there for now. Then there is the chicken coop. This picture below is while we were building it. It's impressive.
