Despite so many things being closed and 2020 looking very different, we adapted and had a pretty normal summer. Jimmy was put on furlough for 3 months from May-July so we spent a lot of time altogether as a family. I still had two socially distanced weddings to photograph which kept me busy too. With all activities being outside, we didn't have to mess with wearing masks. Some highlights were picking strawberries, having Nathan Reid visit, swimming LOTS, losing teeth, studying a dead fox, completing projects, hiking, and Devin's baby shower.
Kaydence was still able to play softball for a month. Her team was really young for the age they were playing at, but she hung in there and improved so much. Most of the team were girls from different towns just trying to find a league that would allow the girls to play during COVID. With it being outside, Wisconsin numbers being low, and the girls required to have their own equipment, we felt safe having her participate. It was nice to get out and do something "normal" a few times a week!
