The twins picked to go to Build-A-Bear for their birthdays. Parker made a rock n' roll kitty and Scarlett a Poppy from "Trolls." We let Brooke and Kaydence make one too ;).
The same weekend we went camping at Devil's Lake. This was ironically payback for Brooke and Kaydence's birthday. That's what they ended up picking, but it didn't work out until the weekend of the twins' birthday. It rained, but it turned out to be a good time. We had lots of McDonalds and did a good amount of swimming and hiking. Our wood was wet, so the campfire didn't really turn out. We got home in time to make cakes and open presents the last day.
Happy 5th birthday to my Parker and Scarlett! I'm not the kind of momma that mourns toddler/babyhood leaving. We are hopefully moving on to wiping our own butts and reading this year (and maybe taming those overly determined personalities, just a tad, LOL)! You were my dream come true, and I love you more than my heart can handle feeling! 💕
