KAYDENCE TURNS 3

This is from Kaydence's actual birthday at home.  Someone loves Monsters, Inc, if you couldn't tell!  Here's my traditional "things we'll miss from 2 years old list"....
  • Your "hulk face" and voice (..."STRONGEST EVER!") that we would view/hear every.single.day.  You picked to be the Hulk for Halloween and were disappointed that we didn't get you a Marvel Universe Red Hulk action figure for you birthday (it is on it's way in the mail though...spoiled girl!).
  • Related to the Hulk, we'll miss the way you attach yourself to the funniest and most unique things ( I hope that's an attribute you keep...it's actually quite endearing).  No princesses for Kaydence, some of your favorite characters this year were the Hulk, Olivia as a "fairy pig," Sully from Monsters, and zombie carrots.
  • Your favorite shows/movies were Olivia, Monsters Inc, Yo Gabba Gabba, Wonder Pets, Timmy Time, and My Big Big Friend.  All of which we enjoyed the reenacting and singing of ALL THE TIME :).
  • And in this singing of show's theme songs, if you were ever interrupted, you would have to start all the way from the beginning again until you were able to finish the whole thing without anyone trying to sing along.
  • We'll miss the way you come alive when Brooklyn is gone.  Whenever Brooke was dropped off at preschool, you would have the most intricate and drawn out conversations with yourself (or some imaginary person) in the car on the way home.  Then at home you would disappear for a couple of hours in your room to play just the way you wanted without an older sister's "interference."
  • Your cuddling....oh my gosh, please don't ever ever EVER stop cuddling with me....I would miss it forever.
  • You asking in your nighttime prayers to be able to "do and find" Easter eggs again after you experienced them on Easter in March.  Yeah, it's almost July, and I just heard it again last night!
  • Speaking of prayers, how about the fact that we have to tell you to say a short/little prayer before you pray, otherwise we will be in for a literal 6-7 minute prayer that will be followed by an inconsolable fit if it is stopped before you find necessary.  It was really cute the first 5 times or so, but we've found your "short" prayers are of a normal length, so I don't feel too bad enforcing that one.
End of story...Kaydence, we love you and appreciate your uniqueness so much.  Your loving nature has added a ridiculous amount joy to our lives.
