MORTENSEN GOOD-BYE/ JAMES' 28th B-DAY

Jimmy's birthday was much busier than mine!  That was probably good though to help him forget that he's only two years away now from turning 30!  We went to a house showing in the morning to a house we have been eyeing and still like as a possibility.  While we were there, Dad was at home fixing our kitchen sink (thanks!).  Then we went straight to Edward's Orchard to meet Mom (Weber), Allison, Jesse, Kelsey and kids.  Allison's family just moved to Florida with her in-laws, so this was the last time we saw them.  The kids had fun playing, especially riding ponies, like usual.  After that we went to Mom's apartment for awhile, and when we got home, Mom and Dad (Kiederlen) plus girls came over for dinner.  I made James his favorites...Lasagna and strawberry trifle.
