Jimmy's mom, whom we haven't seen since the twins were born, made it up from Florida to come to his graduation! We all road tripped it to Iowa, stayed in a hotel, ate McDonald's happy meals and Casey's pizza, and watched Jimmy's ceremony. There were typical children issues and a grumpy Daddy here and there ;), but we had a good time! We knew it would be a hassle to make it out there, but we wanted the children to have the experience and celebrate how hard their daddy worked. It's been an adjustment to James being done with school and having evenings free after the kids go to bed, but it's definitely something we can get used to!
