This 4th of July was the same as it has been since the twins have been born. We went to the parade in the morning, hung out with family in the afternoon/evening, and then put the kids to bed while promising our own fireworks at home another night since the firework stand was sold out. This ended up a much bigger ordeal than expected (the buying fireworks part). We ended up having to drive almost an hour away and asking forgiveness for all our broken promises to the kids with a ToysRUs trip, lol. Story of my life.
