4th of July was a fun day. We got moving and went to the parade in the morning. The girls aren't too hot on loud noises, so they weren't super thrilled, but we enjoyed ourselves. We spent the day eating good food and playing at grandma's house. We got to our spot to watch fireworks by the lake and decided to quick take Brooke on the ferris wheel like she has been asking to do. She got scared as we got closer but ended up really liking it. She's doing better about trying new things and not being so scared....like holding sparklers! Anyway, the girls weren't too thrilled about fireworks starting because of, again, the loud noises, but they both ended up falling asleep right in the middle of the show. So we carried them back to the car and they slept all the way home and went right to bed.
Easy, relaxing day!
