We're trying to get in a bunch of activities with Brooke because we know we'll be 'out of commission' for awhile right in the middle of the summer when the baby is born. So this is the start of several fun-filled Saturdays. We chose this zoo because it is FREE! It was on the small side and didn't have elephants :( , but we are trying to count our pennies on some activities so we can also do bigger trips like the Shedd Aquarium and dolphin show in Chicago. Anyway, it was a lot of fun. Brooke cheered with her arms up after we looked at each animal and said
'NOW MORE ANIMALS?!'

Cute! She looks preoccupied in these pictures. I wonder why? ;) And I thought of Brooke this morning when Mal came and got me at 5:30am to look at the nest of robins eggs that were hatching outside her window. She would have loved it!
Awe she would have loved that!!
