THE HOSPITAL TRIP

Somehow in the stress of the day of the penny removal, I thought to take some pictures of Brooklyn on my cell phone. She was cute in her little hospital gown and even though it's a negative memory, I'm glad to have these moments in time captured of her. P.S. My pregnant belly looks way bigger than that in real life!

She's done well since that day. The doctor did order some more x-rays while she was drinking barium two days later to check if there was a tear in her esophagus again because she had had a fever. There was nothing there though. She was really sleepy and clingy for the next week, but only complained of pain when she started eating things like pretzels and chips a few days later.
