These were actually taken back after Thanksgiving (a.k.a. 'deer season' for you non-Wisconsin folk). My dad and Uncle Judd went hunting and came back with a decent sized doe. We pitched in with the skinning and processing of the meat since we'll be eating it too. It's a big money saver because you can replace venison in anything you would normally put beef in and it still tastes
comparable. My dad's been trying to get Jimmy into hunting, but come on...Jimmy's a computer nerd, not an outdoorsmen :). We're hoping to be able to help out with the work every year and some of the cost for tags and such in order to get some meat for ourselves instead of Jimmy having to prove his manliness with a gun
(yikes!).

Would that be Bambi's mom hanging in your garage? sniff, sniff. None of the Weber boys are really outdoorsmen. Weird because dad always was. But I guess he wasn't really anymore by the time the boys joined the family. He was working 6 days a week to support his HUGE family!
Awesome! Mark (Jamie's husband) hunts every year and gets the BEST venison jerky!!!! Very yummy!
