BROOKLYN IRIS HAS ARRIVED!!

Brooklyn was born on Sunday, the third of February 2008

at 4:25 in the morning. She weighed five pounds three

ounces and was 18 and a half inches long. Her umbilical

cord was wrapped around her neck three times, causing

her to go into distress and her arrival to be by c-section. It

was disappointing not to have the birthing experience that

we expected. It's still sad to look back on a memory that is

"supposed" to be filled with happy birthing moments but

was instead replaced with fear and worry. Yet, it simply

did not matter once we could hold her in our arms and

know that she was perfectly healthy (just a little small :) ).

We love her with everything we have and are so grateful

to our Heavenly Father for providing us with such a

precious daughter.
